The problem
Tennis is a social sport that quietly depends on logistics: a free court, a partner at your level, an hour that works for both. The coordination usually happens in a group chat full of maybes.
What we built
Acemate is a tennis community app: find players nearby, book courts, connect with coaches and build a local community around the sport, for beginners and competitive players alike.
What it does
- Find partners near you at your level
- Court booking and coach connections in one place
- Player profiles, photos and in-app activity for the community
- Self-service account deletion from the web, as the stores require
Engineering decisions
- A React Native client with a Node.js backend for profiles, matching and community features.
- Location, profile and photo data is described in a dedicated privacy policy, and users can delete their account from a public web page without contacting support.
