The problem
"No fui yo" means "it wasn't me". Anyone who has shared a kitchen knows the argument over who swept, who took out the trash and whose turn it is.
What we built
NoFuiYo turns household chores into a shared, fair system for families and roommates: tasks are assigned with deadlines, completion is recorded with a photo, and everyone can see the history of who did what.
What it does
- Assign chores with deadlines and mark them complete
- Photo evidence of completed tasks
- Completion stats and a "member of the month"
- A random roulette for fair task assignment
- Invite codes to add household members
Engineering decisions
- React Native with Firebase for shared, real-time household data across every member's phone.
- Invite codes rather than contact lists to join a household, which keeps onboarding simple and private.
- Account deletion is available from a public web page, as App Store and Google Play policies require.
