Yaiki Accesorios

Yaiki Accesorios is the mobile store of a Colombian handmade accessories brand: woven and beaded bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, beach pieces and personalized designs. Browse the catalog by collection, add pieces to a cart and send the order to Yaiki on WhatsApp with one tap.

Case study

The problem

Yaiki's customers discover pieces on Instagram and order on WhatsApp. Without a catalog, every order starts with scrolling a feed, then typing out what you want and asking for prices piece by piece.

What we built

A catalog app that mirrors how the brand already sells: browse by collection, open each piece in detail, collect items in a cart, and send a pre-written order — products, quantities and total in COP — straight to Yaiki's WhatsApp, where payment and delivery are agreed in person.

What it does

Catalog by collection with featured pieces on the home screen
Product detail with photo gallery, price and availability
Cart that persists on the device, with quantities and a running total
One-tap order message to the brand's WhatsApp
Hidden admin panel for the owner to manage products, photos and collections

Engineering decisions

No shopper accounts and no payment processing in the app: orders close in WhatsApp, the channel Yaiki's customers already use, so the app collects no personal data.
The cart lives only on the device; the catalog is served from Firebase (Firestore and Storage) and edited by the owner from an admin panel opened by tapping the logo five times.
